First of all, no - he is not a meek high school science teacher who transforms into a ruthless player in the local methamphetamine drug trade with his signature blue ice.

He is, however, a creator by both passion and trade with similar swagger and rivaled resourcefulness.

Professionally, he creates compelling and innovative ways for brands to share their products and reach their consumers. Rare for an award-winning creative director, Nick is an effective and well-respected leader and mentor to young creatives looking to channel their talents into impactful, award-winning work.

Outside of the daily grind, Nick creates with his hands instead of the computer; wood is his often chosen medium, though he aspires to expand to metal work as soon as he's able to retrofit his garage to handle a welder.

A testament to both Nick's loyalty and VMLY&R's ability to both innovate and support their talent, he's spent his 15+ year career at one shop. Even so, he's had the opportunity to provide creative leadership across many high profile brands such as Danone, Gatorade, Propel, Wonderbread, Sears, Intuit, YRC Worldwide, Tropicana, AMC Theatres and Dr Pepper Snapple Group.
